Mandalorian Season 3 Roundtable with Ray Chase!

#272 This week we're joined once again by Ray Chase as we recap the 3rd season of Mandalorian on Disney+!  Was this the best or the worst season of the Mandalorian?  We'll tell you about our theories for what's next in the Mandoverse and Ryan gives an explanation for the final scene and how it might be similar to some of the Star Wars films.  Is Moff Gideon one of the best villains?

Geek Imagineering, SXSW and Thrawn

#269 Bill and Ted would be proud as we celebrate episode 269! Ryan and Catron talk about the new show "Living with the Landspeeder" and a Disney tech presentation by Josh D'Amaro at SXSW.  Is this the beginning of the robot revolution?

The Galactic Starcruiser and the New Show!

#265 The Derek Frank joins us again as we talk about Ryan's upcoming trip on the Halcyon on May the 4th.  We introduce a new podcast we are working on called "Living with the Landspeeder"!  Don't worry--we're not going anywhere--this will be a new show with content about Star Wars and Disney!  New trailers were released for Guardians of the Galaxy, Indiana Jones and Flash. And finally, we hear an epic story about Ryan's battle with this washing machine.  All this and more in episode 265! 

 

 

Disney Movie Sequels and the Super Bowl!

#264 The Walt Disney Company recently announced major cutbacks and layoffs but also teased 3 new animated movie sequels that we weren't asking for -- Toy Story 5, Frozen 3, and Zootopia 2.  Catron and Ryan reveal the plots for these new movies and what they think could happen.  

There's also a new Avatar experience coming to Disneyland and Pecos Bill's at Walt Disney World will likely be rethemed to a Tiana restaurant.  Maybe you will be able to get beignets and dole whips or perhaps a king cake milkshake!

This episode even has Super Bowl talk, so you know we are covering all sorts of goodness.

One Last Splash and the Department of Wonder

#263 Splash Mountain has closed at Walt Disney World and construction has begun for Tiana's Bayou Adventure. Hopefully the changes and updates will be more than a bunch of screens. Thousands showed up to get one last splash and some even took home some souvenirs to sell on eBay! We also found out about the ghost named Billy who hangs out among the boats.

Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway opened recently at Disneyland and we talked about some of the differences compared to the original ride at Walt Disney World.

After our Disney talk, Ryan tells us about an immersive experience he had with his family at the Department of Wonder in Sugarland, TX.
