Hear the story of how he and his crew of 28 attempted to cross Antarctica in a journey that would take them almost 2 years before they returned home. The ship sank to the bottom of the Weddell Sea but miraculously, the entire crew survived to tell the story. A recent episode of History's Greatest Mysteries followed a team that was able to find the wreckage 10,000 feet below the sea level.
